Every Livin' Soul, William Cameron's historical drama, has been named best play of the 2022 Dayton Playhouse FutureFest. One of six finalists chosen from 378 submissions, Every Livin' Soul received a spirited reading at the yearly festival, where the play was also voted Audience Favorite.
The reading, skillfully directed by Ray Gambrel, featured Mandy Shannon as Hannah, Katie Gainey-West as Dot, Steve Heman as Herk, and Brandon Shockney as Choc.
Inspired by actual events, Every Livin’ Soul celebrates the resilience of hope in the face of desperation and heartbreak.
